Recently I received a new computer without a OS system.
The computer is better than my present computer.
I would like to use my current xp program for this
computer so I don't have to repurchase another xp program.
Is there a way I can transfer my 0S to this new computer?
Thank you
Stephen

Use a ghost software (Norton etc.) to copy the image
from your old hard drive to the new one.

If it's a full retail copy of XP(not OEM) you should have the CDs and Product
Key so it won't be a problem. If you installed on the original PC more than 120
days ago, online activation should work fine. If it's pirated, OEM or some
other strange incarnation of XP than you're probably SOL.

It depends on whether the old computer has OEM operating
system software. If it does, you must buy a new OS.
