About 10 days ago, I got a used tower from a friend who thought his system was twice as fast as mine. We installed Windows 98 and bought the upgrade to Windows XP Professional. We then found out his computer was only 496mhz while mine was 396mhz. I decided to buy a new processor which was much larger/faster and already has Windows XP Home on it. I want to use my recently purchased Professional upgrade on the new system....and wipe it off the old system, then donate the friend's computer or give it back to him. My new computer tells me I can use the upgrade for 30 days but must contact Microsoft within 30 days....yet it doesn't tell me a phone number or email address. Help! How can I make use of my new Professional XP software?
