re-format CD

I have formatted a re-writable CD for music and would like to re-format it to
accept data.
I have tried formatting from DOS but no luck.

Otto, you need a program like InCD or DirectCD. If you want to use the cdrw
like a floppy disk. Do a google search for
both of those programs.

How did you format it in the 1st place??..........use the same program

This group is for Windows XP not DOS. Use NERO software in WinXP to erase
and reformat your disc.
