Kelly,
I have tried all of the above suggestions and the suggestions on the links
you listed above as well with the exception of method 2 as described in KB
Q320558, which suggests deleting the telephony key in the registry and
performing an in place upgrade of Windows Xp. Nothing has worked yet. I also
ordered SP2 from Microsoft on CD as I can not get online on that computer to
download it. I am hesitant about performing an in place upgrade due to
possible loss of data, Reinstalling programs, updating drivers ect. Do you
have any other suggestions and is there a faster way to get SP2?
4 to 6 weeks is a long time....... I desperately need that computer in order
to run my business.
Any help is recieved with MUCH GRATITUDE!!!
Thanks
