In my Documents and Settings folder I've got one with my name. Then
just below it I've got one with both my first and last name in capital
letters. I believe the all caps folder is unneeded, but when I delete
it it reappears when I restart Win Explorer. I also change it's
attributes to uncheck the read-only attribute all to no avail. Is
Microsoft protecting me from myself again? Grrrr.

Check Control Panel Users. The top level folders under Documents and
Settings correspond to user accounts. If this is an account you created and
never used delete the user and elect to delete the user files when prompted.

My user accounts only show my own (first name) and a Guest. I had
deleted one named for my wife, but I don't find her name in any of the
profile folders.
