Depends on now much is changed. It also depends if you have
activated/changed hardware significantly within the last 120 days or
not. Try Internet activation first. You may not have to do phone activation.
I upgraded a computer and changed the following:
motherboard
RAM
Video Card
NIC
Audio Card
Floppy drive
Replaced a CD RW ROM with a DVD ROM
and on line activation worked fine even though I had to reinstall
Windows and I was/am running a generic OEM Spanish version of XP Home.
Thank you for the information. I only changed the mobo, hardrive and ram. I
should be in good shape.
