re-activation

I have two machines on a small home network.

One is XP pro, which I use primarily for graphics
development, audio and music production and videoediting.

The other is 2003 servcer and is used for network stuff,
domain controller, Active Directory/user authentication,
POP3/SMTP server, etc.

The 2003 server is newer and so has a newer faster
motherboard, also a nicer case, etc.

I am planning on physically rebuilding both machines so
that I have the best, fastest and most powerful components
in the XP/video machine (as well as adding a larger HD,
faster CPU, and more RAM) while the remaining components
will go into the 2003 server.

This will likely require re-activation for the OS's of
both machines.

Before I begin this upgrade I want to have all my ducks in
a row and know in advance what I am going to have to do in
this respect.

I have searched the MS web site for info on re-activation,
and have found lots, but what is missing is some specific
information, such as phone number or email address, that I
can use to contact MS (preferably online), in order to
request a new activation code.

Is there anyone who may have been through something
similar before, and can advise me on how this will work?
Is it fairly easy or a hassle and what will I need to do
to make this happen?
