YES! It is very easy and you can do it each/every time your repair/re-install
XP. However, if the XP is an OEM version, you are not entitled to re-install
XP. OEM versions are tied to the first motherboard that it was installed on
to. There are even OEM versions of XP that will not let you re-install/repair
the installed version if the motherboard is not the original, or same model,
motherboard.

False. This may be true of some branded OEM versions but not generic OEM
versions. I have changed the motherboard twice on one computer and once
on another and both computers activated on line without any problems and
I am running generic versions of XP OEM on both.

OK, thanks for the replies to all of you :) was very helpful, fortunatelly i
don´t have an OEM XP version, but it's gonna be interesting to repair a
windows XP installation..i know it sounds weird, but i've never done it
before, so now that i have a better knowledge on the concept, i'll try it on
a computer that has some errors, thank you all

Probably, but not necessarily. If you replaced the motherboard with an
identical make.model, and have an OEM installation, you may not have to
activate.
