I use microsoft word and created a file that I saved to a
floppy disk. The computer I used to create the file runs
on XP. It recognizes the file. I take the floppy disk and
go to tanother computer running XP and it does not
recognize the file. In fact it tells me that the disk
needs to be formatted. I checked the properties and it
tells me that the file sysytem is RAW. I noticed on other
floppys that the file system is FAT. I am assuming that
is the problem. Can I convert/format the floppy disk from
RAW to FAT without losing what is on the floppy disk now?
OR How can I get all computers to read what is on the
floppy disk?
