I keep getting a message stating: NT system/authority-
system is now shutting down, save any work that you don't
want to lose. After 30 seconds the system reboots.
This is not the exact message but its close. What can I
do to stop this from happening.

Hello,

It sounds as if you have the Blaster worm on your system. See if this
can help you:
http://securityresponse.symantec.com/avcenter/venc/data/w32.blaster.worm.html.

To prevent your computer rebooting before you get the chance to visit
the page above and disable the worm, click on Start > Run, type
"shutdown -a" (without quotes) and click OK. Now your computer will not
reboot. Immediately go to the page above, read through it, and follow
the removal intstruction to rid your computer of the worm.

Hope this helps!
