Getting reboots from Windows at random times with this
error in the system event log (error 1003): -

Error code 0000004e, parameter1 00000099, parameter2
0001caef, parameter3 00000000, parameter4 00000000.

Unfortunately, the knowledgebase doesn't seem to contain
any help regarding this problem. Any ideas?

I am having the same problem, with different addresses,
since re-install of Windows XP Pro. Did you run the
latest updates? I'm wondering if there is a problem with
one of their patches?? I'm thinking of re-installing
again and not running the updates to see if that makes a
difference.....

Good Luck!!

Most of the problems leading to this event(ID 1003)
indicate faulty hardware, bugs in device drivers,or
incompatible hardware.I would start looking in device
manager for some indication of a problem.Click on all
your hardware to see if they are working properly, check
for updated drivers, especially video card (best at there
website)....Good luck.
