Here it goes, my system just randomly reboot's without warning. It
will just die and reboot.

I also get a error message on reboot and when I send the report
microsoft says its a driver. I have installed 2 things in the last few
weeks. One being a DVD Reader/Writer I believe its a TDK240, I have
also installed a new video card. I have no removed both things, I have
unplugged the cd-rom/dvd-writer and replaced the video card with the
old one and it still randomly reboots and crashs on what microsoft
says is a "driver"

Go to Start > Settings > Control Panel > Admin. Tools > Event Viewer.
What error messages are shown?

Are you sure your power supply can handle the addition of the hardware you
installed.

The symptoms you describe are indicative of a underpowered power supply.

Go to Start > Settings > Control Panel > Admin. Tools > Event Viewer.

These are the errors I get the most.

The mrtRate service failed to start due to the following error:
The system cannot find the file specified.

I haven't tried that, its a 135W Antec power supply. I guess I could
always upgrade that, but i don't think that this is what is causing
the driver device errors do you? Even more so when nothing new is
hooked up right now. Power is still hooked up to the DVD Drive but the
ide cable isn't.

The mrtRate service is a Quicken component. You may want to try
reinstalling that software.

A 135 watt power supply is unlikely to take you far.

Your system may have been at its limits already. Most modern graphics cards
will require more power than the cards that they replace.

Thanks Jason,

I will look at poping up that power supply, it came with the case and
its one of the first atx cases with a biger mother board and cpu so it
could be some of the power off issue.

That is a fresh install of Quicken so that shouldn't be a issue. Any
idea on that driver that could be crashing. Did any of those reports I
posted have anything to do with the driver?. Maybe I will try and
reboot in a bit and see what happends if that driver crashes again.

More errors after a random shutdown. I just put in a 300 watt atx
power supply so it isn't that now. Ruled out that possibility.
