Every time on start internet explorer, random graphics are being saved
somewhere and when I view a photo with "photo and fax viewer" and click the
"next" arrow, these random graphics are being diplayed...Does anyone know
whats causing this and how to stop it?

Thank You

Those graphics are every picture that you've seen on any web page you've
looked at recently. When you look at a web page, all the peices that make up
that web page are stored in a special folder, so when you go back to the same
page later, it loads instantly from your hard drive instead of having to
download again.

When you view a picture (especially from your e-mail) it's saved in the same
place. Then when you click Next, it goes to the next picture in that folder.
The only way to stop this is to disable this temporary internet files folder.

Shawn,
how do you "disable the folder"? i saw where I could empty the folder and
specify the size but how not how to disable...

John

True enough I don't know. I know how to disable IE's cache (so it never USES
the temp folder, and always checks for the most current data on every page
you go to --- but according to the documentation I can find, it'll still
store that new data in the temp folder for offline viewing).

So... not sure. Maybe just set the size to 0 MB?
