hopefully someone can help me.. I'm trying to repair a
previous installed windows xp. When It's installing I'll
get a random error reading a file.. I'll hit F3 to start
over, and I'll get a different file that reads bad..
Whats going on?? When I hit enter to try again, it
proceeds with the installation, but Im still having
system stability problems.. thanks in Advance

What's going on is that your hardware has a problem, probably the hard
drive although testing RAM can't hurt either.

could also be dirty lens on the CD reader (assuming you are installing
from CD), drive cables, motherboard, or CPU. Tried copying the CD
install files to the hard disk and run it from there?
