random animation timing help

i am attempting to set up a family feud style shell in powerpoint where i can
reveal five different bullet points in random order, as in i know the order
as the presenter, in control of powerpoint, leading a group discussion and
only want to reveal the points as brought out by group discussion
please help
 
What version of PowerPoint are you using? If I understand what you want to
do, this should be very easy with animation triggers, but triggers are only
available in 2002 and above. With triggers, you can have shapes covering the
answers and set an exit animation for each shape. The exit animation can be
triggered by a click on another shape (or even the same shape).

If you are using 2000 or earlier, you might need to resort to VBA to get the
same effect.
