How do I set up a 256 MB ramdrive in XP Home?

I don't believe you can Keith.

I use a freeware product called AR Ramdisk by AR Soft. It
installs to the control panel and appears to limit the
size of the disk to 128Mb. You can find it here:

It is possible using the win2k ramdisk files:

Please be aware that unless you have large amounts of RAM (1Gb plus) that
using a ram disk will actually slow your system down as there will be less
physical memory in which to load the operating system and any applications.
