Hi guys, Thanks for your advice yesterday, I've decided to go a few squids over budget, but....

One more favour, I can get 512mb PC3200 of Kingstone ram with heatsinks for £50 each. Now on overclockers.co.uk they are about £100 each, so for half price i think its a good deal.....

Now down to the point, is this good ram?

Cheers lads:thumb:

Kingston will be fine.

Tend to go for brand name stuff with a Cas latency of Cas 2 or Cas 2.5

What are the exact specifications of this RAM and where are you buying from? Just out of interest

Ok so £103.98 Delivered for two of the ones on eBay...

When you said Heatspreaders i thought you meant the HyperX series...Thats not the hyperX series...

They are in no way like the ones you are seeing on Overclockers, the heatspreaders look somewhat generic.

You would be better off buying from a store - the RAM is shipped from Hong Kong.

What about these, you can't go wrong here

http://www.dabs.com/uk/Search2/Product+Details.htm?quicklinx=33JG&searchphrase=Corsair Value

It is cheaper than buying a couple of seperate sticks and they are a matched pair so are good for dual channel if your motherboad supports it.

Can't go wrong with Corsair.

Regards

Chris
