Hey folks, I hope someone can help.
I just bought a Sapphire Raidon 9600 Atlantis 256 DDR card
today, im replacing an old Voodoo 3dfx 5.

I installed it on my system, which I bought off a friend,
so no manuals or anything, and I installed the drivers
from the CD that came with the card, I have Direct X 9
already.

When i reboot the machine, I get a grey screen, which
looks like it's got a small blue thing repeated down the
screen (sorry, im not sure how to describe it).

I did reformat the computer when I got it, but I didn't
install any motherboard drivers, is that a problem, or
would Windows (windows 2000 Pro) have done that for me?
No drivers for the mobo were supplied with the machine, so
I checked the Asus site and can only find Audio drivers or
a Bios.

I've flashed my BIOS to the newest version, and im still
getting the exact same problem, and i've changed the
Graphics Aparture to 256 MB in the Bios.

My motherboard is an Asus Model A7V133 with a Vt8363 /
5K7133 bridge

Someone please help, it's driving my nuts.

First install drivers/software for the card, usually at
one time, dont reboot at each install. After,go to device
mgr.,disable the on-board display adapter,back-out and
close device mgr. Then reboot system after all,you might
uninstall the previos installations for the card first.
The only add-on from asus would be a BIOS update if one
exist,XP doesnt need much from them.
