R6025 Error after Office 2000 SP-3 installation failure

After attempting, and failing to install Office 2000 SP-3, I openned
PowerPoint and received the following message when I selected a template type
from the startup dialog box:

Runtime Error

Program: C:\Program files\Microsoft Office\Office\POWERPNT.EXE

R6025

- pure virtual function call

I click on OK, which closes the program. When I attemp to open an existing
PPT file the program crashes when starts to open the edit window.

Any suggestions?

HKLM\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Office\PowerPoint\Addins\PKMOfficeAddIn.PwrPntUI.1


I am running under windows XP office 2000 and the problem exactely occured
as you told after updating to SP-3,

Please help !!!
