For some reason, when i quote text replying
to a newsgroup, such as this one, i get the
"less-than" characters in the quoted text
(as the Bibles and Holy Q'ran tells us to)
but when i reply to my wifes letters, i get
to put in them myself!

What can i do about it?

I've found the error. Apparently and
surprisingly, when one chooses to post
in HTML (as opposed to plain text) the
check box adding ">" ceases to apply.

Perhaps i'm misinterpretting something
here but if not, this is plain stupid!

On the other hand - if i choose plain
text (because i DO need to >'ify the
quotation), i can't use different
colors when typing...
