In Word 2007 (specifically in MCAS), I want to know what is meant by “quoted
material Is that something related to the “Text Boxes†feature, or certain
styles like “Quoteâ€, or something else?

Thanks

ISTR that there was some discussion of this during the beta, when it was
necessary to make clear to the designers the difference between a Block
Quote and a Pull Quote. The latter would be in a text box; the former in an
ordinary text paragraph indented on both sides. I'm not sure how that
relates to what you're asking, but perhaps it will contribute something!

Thanks a lot Suzanne.. But I still want to make sure that "format quoted
material" means "format text using the Text Boxes feature".. This is very
important please..

Thanks again for your quick response

Where are you seeing "format quoted material"? Is this a homework question?

Okay, having googled it, I assume you're referring to the Microsoft
Certified Application Specialist exam (and not the Massachusetts
Comprehensive Assessment System or the Multnomah Community Ability Scale or
Marine Corps Air Station, all of which are represented on the first page of
a Google search for "MCAS objective"). That said, I have no idea what is
meant here. If you are taking a course, I suggest you ask the instructor. Or
perhaps your textbook, if any, has further information. Or possibly someone
else here who is using Word 2007 can shed some light. Bob Buckland, where
are you?

Sorry.. I mean the new micorosof certification called Microsoft Certified
Application Specialist (MCAS). it is an objective of Exam 77-601 (for Word
2007).

thanks
