Quick Launch Toolbar disappeared

My Quick Launch toolbar disappeared -- I don't know what
caused it to. When I click on the taskbar, click on
Properties, & tell it to show Quick Launch & hit Apply
(like it says in Help), the box shows clicked. But when
I hit OK & the Properties box goes away, Quick Launch
still doesn't work. When I open the properties menu, the
Quick Launch box is unchecked again!

When I right click on the Taskbar, click on Toolbars &
click on Quick Launch, it throws up a Red X window that
says "Cannot create toolbar."

Any suggestions?

Make sure you have not deleted the Quick Launch folder. If so, recreate it
as C:\Documents and Settings\<username>\Application Data\Microsoft\Internet
Explorer\Quick Launch, where <username> is the user under which it Quick
Launch is not working.

Frank,
That solved the problem! I don't have any idea how I
deleted the Quick Launch folder, but the fix was very
simple. Thanks so much.
