I am running Windows XP SP 2 on an IBM laptop. If I enable Quick Launch, it
shows up fine until I reboot, and then it's gone. Any ideas on how to get it
to stay?

JS,
In looking through the solutions listed, nothing fit exactly, but I did try
something different from what I had before based on what you sent and it did
work! I'm not sure that what I was doing before should have been a problem,
but if you can let me know, I would appreciate it.

To show the Quick Launch toolbar, I was right clicking on the "START"
button, going to properties and then the "Taskbar" tab and then clicking on
the "Show Quick Launch" box. This is how I always turned the Quick Launch
on.

To fix it, I right clicked on the task bar, went to Toolbars and clicked on
Quick Launch. I rebooted several times and the Quick Launch came up every
time.

Thanks for your help!

What worked for you is the way I normally work with the Task Bar. My guess
is that it's a registry setting that was missing or corrupted.
