Quick launch bar not expandable

Unlike my PC with XP Pro SP2, a friend's PC has a quick launch bar which
does not have the dragable separator which can be used to expand the bar to
show all the icons.

Didn't note which XP they are running but hope it might be a problem which
is independent of the version of XP.

Right click on an empty area of the taskbar and you'll probably notice a
check next to 'Lock the Taskbar'. Simply click on 'Lock the Taskbar' to
uncheck it.

If the Taskbar is locked, you cannot increase the size of the Quick Launch
Bar. If the Taskbar is locked, right click on the Taskbar and the option
Lock the Taskbar will be checked.
