1. How do I hide the "Networking Services" and "Other Network File and Print
Services" since they are completely useless? I added hide to the NetOC line
but it didn't hide the two.
2. How do I completely uninstall Outlook Express including its patches and
related?
3. Should I disable the automatic updates (not the service)?

Hide them where?
2. How do I completely uninstall Outlook Express including its

If you use Outlook, Outlook uses files from OE so if you did, then Outlook
may well become unusable. If you use some other email client, why bother?
Just ignore OE. (OE is part of IE and if you are on XP, IE is part of the OS
so you /can't/ uninstall it AFAIK)
3. Should I disable the automatic updates (not the service)?

What I do is just spdates to notify me when there are updates available, and
NOT to automatically download or install - I like to know what's on my
machine!

Why remove Outlook Express? It does much more than give you the ability tro
use the eMail program Outlook Express. For example it also gives you the
ability to save a Web page as an mht. The point is not that you'd want to
save a Web Page as an mht but that it is necessary for "things" you may have
no idea are related.

Well, my reason was that I can't open outlook express properly, so how do I
do a repair install if I can't remove it?
