I am not sure if I am at the right place to ask this
questions. I am very new at coputers and I have a project
to do but not sure how to do it. If somebody can help me
would be great!!!
I received a file which was created as a TXT file and I
need to open it in EXCEL. I do that but I am not sure how
I can separate words which are in one column?
For example I have under "A" (shouldleave), and I need to
separate "should" from "leave". Like, leave "should" in
that column and move "leave" in the next one.

I hope this is a right place for this type of questions...
Anyones reply (asap) would be appriciated,

1. It's not the right place -- you should try microsoft.public.excel
for excel-related questions.
2. use a more descriptive subject than "question" -- everything posted
here is a question
3. learn how use the Excel help feature

All that said, the answer is in Excel help. Using Excel Help, type in
"split cells" (without quotes) and click on the selection for "divide
text across cells"

Edit the TXT file to add Commas (,) where each column should be. Then,
open the file in Excel and use Comma seprated delimitation.

ie... A,quick,bronw,fox,jumped,over,the,lazy,dog becomes
a|quick|beown|fox|jumped|over|the|lazy|dog.
