Hi,
I just want to know why it is wrong to have Kazza and to
share your music, I mean if you buy a cd, why can't you
share it with others, after all you pay for it you should
be able to do whatever you want to with it.
Just wanted someone to explain this one to me.
Thank you for your time
BJ

That's just the point with kazza. It bypasses the buying part, which is
known more widely as STEALING!

Hi Jason, I still don't understand, someone has to buy
these cds in order to put them on the internet, so how is
that stealing?

You acquired copyrighted material without paying for it. You're wrong for
taking it and the folks who upload it are wrong for distributing it. It's
piracy, plain & simple.

.

If you buy a CD you can lend that CD to a friend and (if
she is a real friend)you will get it back . If you buy a
CD and send the music on it to a friend you are not
lending her the CD. The manfucaturer (the artist and
publisher) of what you bought (a sequence of ones and
zeros on a conventient meduim) has been paid for yours.
The one your friend has has not been paid for and has
therefore been stolen.

Hi Jason,
I haven't acquired anything yet, don't even have Kazza,
but have been watching the news about all of this and just
didn't understand how they can sue someone for sharing
files of their own. Thank you for your help. BJ

Do you work for free. Or, expect to get paid?. You probably have to same
duties each day. Should your employer only pay you from one day? Mucicians
make money for ech copy sold ( Presumably, RIAA actually gets most of it ).
SO, everytme you give a copy, or take a copy, you are stealling from the
artist ( presumably ).
