I am using XP home and just went from a dial up to DSL. When I first hooked
it up I was able to get off line. Now I am always on line. When I double
click on the connection at the bottome right of the task bar the status
window comes up. When I click on properties and then go to options I think I
may have clicked something in their that has caused this. Any help?

Welcome to broadband. DSL and cable are not like dial up - they are 'always
on' connections. Enjoy the freedom of not having to dial in - and enjoy the
speed!

You connections IS always on...you cannot disconnect, thus the need for a
good firewall and a good antivirus program that is updated daily.
