Is there a way to disable the Serious Error Report "feature" ?? It comes on
for no reason that I know of and I do not understand the codes. Even after
sending the report it just keeps coming back telling me to send again - and
keeps on coming back --- and so on. Pain in the ---------.
If anyone has info in addtion to posting it to the group could you copy me
directly? I do not get to read the newsgroup messages daily and might miss the
good info among the hundreds of other messages posted.
Thanks for any guidance.

The real issue is, why are you getting these? Look at your system and
application event logs to see what application is causing this error.
Also note - posting your valid e-mail address in a newsgroup post, or in
your news account settings, is a surefire way to get spam and SWEN and other
viruses sent to you....see http://www.mailmsg.com/SPAM_munging.htm for help
in the future.

Turn this off: in Control Panel - System - Advanced, click Error
Reporting in the Startup and Recovery section. Select to Disable error
reporting

Also click Settings and there uncheck 'automatically restart'. You can
also usefully change the 'write debugging information' to (none)
