well, frankly... i'm having trouble getting started with a game called
Ragnarok. upon clicking the start game button on the client, i receive a
notice such as "Cannot init d3d or grf filr has problem." i was told that my
Video Driver may need some updating... My question is this, how can i know
the brand/name of my Video Card? i can't seem to find it in Device Manager.
i'm a new Windows XP user by the way. i was a Windows 98 2nd edition user
before... thanks for the help...

Or, when you boot your PC you should see some info about your Video Card
appear briefly in the top left corner.

Hi

Yes, I think most graphics cards show up there. The bootup sequence at that
stage can be stopped to see the message by pressing the 'Pause' key.

Hi

Everest would be the better way to find out which card you have installed.
You need to press the 'Pause' at exactly the right time - it's 'hit & miss'
really!!

i'm running the everest now. i clicked the "report" thing and have received a
report on my Hardware. what should i look for in here then? i couldnt see a
"Video Card: ------" i mean... what should i look for?
