question regarding search

Under XP, I could search for a document containing some string.
Today, running Vista Home Premium, I tried to locate a document
containing the string "spanish". Where is the box where you
enter a search string?

That almost works.
It took me a while to find my missing file... And your suggestion
turned up a large number of documents containing the string
"spanish", but it missed one on my desktop. It might be interesting
to look into this.
