Question re printing from web pages

Before I did a reinstall of XP pro (& IE 6), a page printed from a
website would show a title and page number at the top of the printed
page, and the web address at the bottom. Since the reinstall, I get
the header but not the footer. On the page setup dialogue box,
"&w&bPage &p of &P" appears in the header space and "&u&b&d" appears
in the footer space.

I'd really like to get the footer back, as I print a lot of recipes,
and having the the web address of where they came from is extremely
helpful.

Thanks,

Lorraine

Check your printer setup.

Thanks Jim -

It seems that somehow the paper size was set to A4 (both in IE & my
printer settings) and as A4 is longer than letter, I assume that was
the reason it wasn't showing up. I reset to letter size and the
footer is there now.

Thanks again for your suggestion. Don't know why I didn't think to do
that.

Now here's something wierd. In my last post my last name came up in
full rather than an initial. I have 3 newsgroup accounts - 2 of which
show my first name and last initial (microsoft & corel). My ISP's
newsgroup has full name. So how did my full name get into my last
post?

| Thanks Jim -
