Question on Updates

I notice that when I do Miscrosoft updates, that the installation is
'automatic'. That is, the update is done without interventions.
What if I want to just download a give update for later installation?
Can I do that? How?

Select Start, Control Panel, Automatic Updates and make your selection.

"Control Panel > Automatic Updates" should give you the clue.

poor response in this group - but you will get a wider informed response -
and it is a more appropriate group to post update problems.
