My power led connector is not plugged in at this time because the case
connector has the 2 wires next to each other in the connector plug. The
mother board pins must have an empty space between the 2 wires in order to
connect properly. The motherboard is an ABIT and the case is an Alien II.
I know I need to change the connector plug, but in the meantime does having
the Power LED wires unplugged have any effect on my hardware voltage monitor
or any other items that XP Professional loads at startup? This is a retail
update version of XP Professional that I loaded on this homebuilt PC. I do
have 4 items appearing in event manager that do not give me any error
messages per say, but it does appear that there is something that XP is
looking for that is not loading from a cold boot.
