In my line of business we transcribe statements. When we type the letter "Q" which stands for questions, the user types the question asked. After typing the question and hitting enter, the cursor returns and automatically places an "R" for response. Any idea how we turn this automatic feature off?

It sounds like there are styles in the document, but could potentially be
macros. Click on one of the questions and note the name of the style. Modify
the style. There is a setting like "style to be used" for the next
paragraph, and it's probably set to be the style used for Responses.

Hope this helps!
