question about XP

I was at a site last night, and found a d/l called win xp sp3. It
supposedly has all the new updates for xp. Should I take a chance and
d/l it? Or forget it untill sp3 comes out? Any help is MOST
appreciated. Michael

Be very wary about any purported Windows Updates that you find
anywhere but on the Microsoft web site.

SP-3 is not due until 2nd half 2007:

Whatever it is, it is certainly NOT SP-3 for Windows XP.

You should only get Windows updates directly from Microsoft.
Since they are all free from Microsoft, there is no reason to take a chance
on 3rd party sources.

Do not take a chance if your computer security has any importance to you.
