I have 3 computers in my house. One is running the Win XP Pro Full install,
I bought it when I built one of my systems. The other 2 are HP's and they
came with XP Home pre-installed. I am building a new system but I want to
keep the others running. I already have one liscence for each computer, my
question is, can I buy the Win XP Pro upgrade and use the liscence from that
product but install the full version I bought a couple of years ago again.
Basically, my XP Pro full install would be installed on 2 computers and I
would physically own the XP full install and upgrade. Can I do this?

No, you cannot use a Windows XP upgrade license to install
a full version. You need to purchase a full license to use with
a full version of Windows XP.

Can I purchase an additional liscence for my existing Win XP Full install?
and if so, can I get it at a lower cost than going out and buying the thing
again? I am trying to do this legitimatlly, but it is so annoying that I
have to buy 4-5 copies of the same program at over 100.00 for the home and
200.00 for the pro to use on my home computers. You don't find many
companies charging that much for software that has as many holes in it as
Windows, but Microsoft knows we need it for capatibility issues, otherwise
they would have lost to Linux by now. I am not a corporation, I don't have
money to throw away, I am just trying to find the least expensive legitimate
way to install Win XP on a completly blank system.

You'll only save about $5-$10, but:

(OEM version - cannot upgrade - clean install only)

One can buy additional licenses, assuming one already has a retail
license. Naturally, Microsoft cannot sell additional OEM licenses. Be
aware, however, that you'll probably pay more this way than you would if
you were to buy a second copy of WinXP from a discount retailer;
Microsoft will only offer you a 15% discount off their MSRP.
