I have outlook express, but don't know what version. I
bought the computer in 2001 in november. Also would like
to find out if I could upgrade outlook to 2002 or 2003.
Any help would be wonderful, and thank you.
Robert.

Outtlok 2002/2003(2003 not out yet) is not the same as Outlook Express. If
you have Windows XP you have Outlook Express 6.0, You will need to purchase
Outlook 2002 if you wish to use it.

Visit http://v4.windowsupdate.microsoft.com/en/default.asp to download all
the available updates for Windows XP.

If you wish to upgrade to Outlook 2003, that requires a purchase.

You can update OE by installing IE6 Service Pack 1.
Outlook has nothing to do with OE! You can't upgrade OE to Outlook !

Robert,
Outlook Express is an integral part of Internet Explorer. The most current
version is Internet Explorer 6/Outlook Express 6 [they do not use the year.
To verify what version of Outlook Express is on your computer, click
"Help"/"About Microsoft Outlook Express" and you will see what you have. Any
number less than 6 means you need to go to Microsoft's site and download and
install Internet Explorer 6.
Hang in there,
Gene K
