I am using POP Peeper to view emails from 6 different accounts. The problem
I am having is that I need POP Peeper to leave copies of the emails in the
actual Yahoo and Hotmail accounts as some of them have to be moved to
folders within the account. I used to have a program that did this, I would
assume POP Peeper would do it but cannot find the setting for it anywhere.
Does anyone here know where the setting is or possibly another piece of
freeware that will do the job. Thanks J

Do you have any settings in your e-mail client to "leave on server"?
Both Outlook Express and Thunderbird do. I use Thunderbird to check all
my hotmail, gmail,ISP's pop and yahoo accounts -works well. That way you
do not need an extra program just the hotmail and yahoo extensions for TB.
Hotmail Popper is a good program but it is not free anymore. I found a
site that has the Last Freeware Version of it plus a few other goodies
like mailwasher,kerio,tiny,popcorn.....
oh I just love freeware-God bless those who write them!

Do you only retrieve headers with POP Peeper? That's all I retrieve and
a copy is left on the yahoo and hotmail servers.

If you go to the Options Menu and down to Set Options, on the general
tab is a check box saying delete message immediately - mine is unchecked
Same tab I have default retrieval dropdown set to Headers.

I can see no other option to leave a copy on the server and I changed no
settings when I installed it to make it do that. As far as I know POP
Peeper should only delete emails if you tell it to for each individual
email.

Cheers
