Got a question please. I have a Samsung combination CDRW. I've only one CD
software program (Nero) installed on advice that having two such as Roxio
and Nero might cause a driver conflict.
Anyway, I use a CDRW Disk for backing up misc data that has been formatted
in Nero. My normal method of transferring data is to copy it in my
documents; then paste it on the CDRW .Everything works just fine except one
thing I can't figure out. If I want to create a new folder on the CDRW, I
right click and select "new folder"....but no folder appears until I close
the CD and reopen it again. Then I can see the new folder I created . All
folders are showing normally at all times except this one function. Can
anyone tell me why this is happening and how I can get a created folder to
show up without closing and reopening the CDRW ?
Thanks much,
Dudley

You don't specify but you're probably using Windows Explorer.
On the tool bar go to view then refresh and see if that helps.

I just stick the disk into the drive and it opens automatically. I'm
creating the folders at that point after the disk opens. Is this function
operating in Windows Explorer even though I haven't gone through the right
click on start/explore/function to open explorer?

If you dont have a REFRESH button in the program try to hit F5. It should refresh in most programs.
