John

On my new XP instalation I now get the phenomena of the folder expanding if I
click on it rather than just showing the contents in the right pane. Is there a
tweek so it does not expand unless I click the " + " ?

THANKS.

Click [Start], Click [Control Panel]
Select [Folder Options], Go to [View] Tab
Uncheck [Display simple folder view in Explorer's folder list]
Click [OK], Close the [Control Panel] window.

Good Luck, Ayush.

Thanks, Now I remember selecting that without thinking about what it did. Then a
few days later forgot what I had done. I even when back in there but did not
recognise "Display simple folder view..." as being the purpetrator :)

Thanks again, John
