I have been trying to get the software for a "Polaroid fun flash digital
camera loaded into my computer so I can download pictures. I have the windows
xp home edition. I think it does not support the software, I am really not
sure. All I know is it will not take the software. Is there a way to manually
put this software in my computer so I can use my digital camera with it, or
do I just need to go out and purchase a whole new camera? Any help at all
would be greatly appreciated. Thanks. tpool :)

Which post do you want answered? Posting the same question
twice in four minutes is being pushy.

To answer your question completely you need to say more than
you have. How did you install the camera? How did you
install or try to install the software?

Normally, you log on the computer as an administrator, place
the CD in the drive and select the install or setup option
from the CD. After the drivers have been installed or at
the prompt, connect the camera with it turned ON (assuming a
USB connection or Firewire).

Geeze Jim M. maybe the person wasnt sure how to do this
and just made a mistask! or at least in your
opinion..Back Off!!!

It is my way of instructing Tpool that it is not good form
to post a question every few minutes hoping that it will get
a faster answer. It takes time for the VOLUNTEERS to see
and read (and often decipher) a poorly written question.
Dear Gracie, the word is mistake and that doesn't apply in
this case. If you want to say I am rude and blunt, that's
fine. I am old enough to be rude and blunt. If Tpool wants
to complain or thank me for my best shot at instruction and
an answer, he is welcome to do so. If you want to actually
answer his question or give him instruction in newsgroup
posting, be my guest. But I don't back off.

Can you explain what you mean by "will not take the software"? What happens
when you follow the installation instructions? Does it display any error
messages?

If you got your camera some time ago you may need to download the latest
version of the S/W from Poloroid (eg a version for Windows XP).

| From one old fart to another, OK, you're rude and blunt!
