Hi Al

another question for you all

In my database i have lots of customers details. I would like to be to click on an "a" and be able to find all the surnames beginning with A and so on so forth. I would like all the letters of the alphabet to be in a line at the bottom of the form so that i can click on the relevant letter and find all the customers details with that name

Hi Carol

i've got a demo database with a form like this in it and a macro that you're
would be more than welcome to learn from ... if you email me direct (remove
the "remove this" out of my email address), i'ld be happy to send it to you
(its in Access 2000 format)

Cheers
