Queries and Administrator

I work in an NT4 environment and my login is part of the
Administrators group. I've created several queries for
many of our spreadsheets and have had no problem using
them. Other users cannot see my queries using their
assigned logins. The only way they can use them is by
logging in as Administrator. I've asked the IT Dept to
add their logins into the Administrators group but that
didn't seem to work for them. It only works if they sign
in as Administrator. How weird.

Is it possible that access is only allowed to the "Administrator Account"
and not on "Administrators Group"? Perhaps, you can check this to the
access list. Its just an idea but honestly I'm not sure that could help.
 
Your reply got me thinking and I figured it out. After
signing in as a local user I went into Control
Panel>ODBC. I had to manually Add the Excel driver and
reboot for it to work. I don't understand why the driver
was only loaded under Administrator and not under any
logins. As long as it works right?
