Hello everyone,

Whenever I start/restart my computer, I get the following
error message:
668 qttask.exe
There is no disk in the drive. Please insert a disk into
drive \device\harddisk1\dr2
Try again, cancel, continue buttons are present.

If I click try again, error message remains. If I click
cancel or continue, the error message disappears, and the
machine works fine.

Any ideas/solutions would be greatly appreciated, thx!

qttask.exe is part of Apple's QuickTime. When you uninstall QuickTime it is
sometimes left behind (depending on which version you uninstalled.) You need
to ask your question in an Apple newsgroup. So many people have complained
about this that Apple may have prepared a fix for it.

Without help from Apple, you'll need to delete the executable and then
remove references to qttask.exe from the registry.
