i'm currently running window xp with words 2003.
i have a diskette containing works from window 95 word 97
the file ext is qic
can i oepn it using window xp?

Files with a .qic suffix are *normally* associated with MSBackup sets.
Probably from an earlier version of Windows (3.x thru Win9x and WinMe) or
DOS. There is no XP utility available to open and use these files.

Are you crazy? QIC files are usually associated with the old backup
file sets. XP can't read them.
