Not so!
There still appears to be a problem with this patch. If I install it my PC
crashes at random after a hour or so. No warnings, just a complete and
utter freeze.
Removing the 811493 patch
"fixes" the problem.
I have seen similar
comments from other people. See the "Windows XP Home - Critical Update
811493 is still not fixed" thread in this very newsgroup.
