Hello,

I'm trying to learn asp and I'm already running into some issues. I'm using
a host for my website, but I'd like to download the personal web server for
testing and develpment. My OS is Windows XP, and it is looking like I can't
use pws, or IIS with XP (home). I guess I can upgrade to XP Pro to use IIS,
but I've heard that pws is much easier to use. I really know very little
about using a server and what not, so I'd rather use pws if I can.

Before I just continue to run through this process too fast, I thought I
might plead for some advice. Should I upgrade to XP Pro and use IIS, or
should I do something else so that I could use PWS?

Any advice is very much appreciated!!!

XP Pro upgrade is useful. But Apache is open source
