pvr recording to computer

What brand? If it's a Tivo direct digital transfer is possible but you need
to do some tweaking.
 
Most PVR`s (TIVOS) have usb ports in the back of them so all you need to do
is hook it up to your computer via a usb cable. Being I used to be both a
cable and direct TV (satalite) man , I`ve goten that ? many times.
