WinXp home...found a file in Documents and Settings/Judy/ called
Putty.rnd. I have no idea what it is, cannot open it but is shows
4588 KB
Any idea where that came from? and can I delete it? Nothing in the
add/remove programs

PuTTY is a freeware telnet/SSH client program. See:
<http://www.chiark.greenend.org.uk/~sgtatham/putty/>

The file you refer to is probably connected with generating random
numbers for the secure connections. On my computer, this file is only
1K in size. It should be safe to delete it, but to be safe, try
renaming it and delete it later when/if there are no problems.
